The theme at Trendy Treehouse is Summer Fun. This is how we have been spending our summer evenings... catching bugs!

Fabric choices for bird skirt.

Here are a few choices I came up with for your skirt!! Sorry for the poor pic quality they were from my phone:) I think you could pic any fabric for the tie material, I think the blue dots would be real cute.

Water

Little Buddy loves water. Sprinkler, pool, sink, bath, puddle, water table, you name it he loves it. I sat him right down by the sprinkler and he just played and played. Even when he would get squirt in the face, he would just smile and go back in for some more. He defiantly wins all splash wars at our house.

Sleeping little angel

The theme this time is sleepy! Getting a 3 year old to take a nap seems impossible these days. One day she was so exhausted that she actually fell asleep during nap time! I went in to check on her and saw my precious little girl laying so sweetly. I ran to get my camera. I love her porcelain skin and her little hand up by her face. I also love the sweat ring around her head. Poor thing she must be hot!

First day of swimming class

The theme is school. This is about as close to school as we can get! Munchkin started swimming lessons a week ago. This is a picture from her first class. She loved it and wanted to go back everyday. She did not like getting her face wet AT ALL. Well see how this all works out! I just thought this picture was cute of her on the side of the pool, waiting her turn so patiently.

Fishing with Papa

The theme is summer @ The Yellow House. Is there a better way to spend a summer day? Munchkin and her Papa fishing off the dock. This was her second time fishing. She really liked to work the reel. She got pretty good by the end of the day.

Little Buddy is handsome!!

This is my favorite picture from his 9 month photo shoot!! Oh I love the expression on his face, he sweet little teeth, the bright blue eyes. He is just so precious to me!! There wasn't a theme this week so I picked my favorite picture of May!

At Iheartfaces this week, the theme is PLAY. My entry is one of my favorite all time pictures I have taken. Munchkin is playing in our homemade ball pit! Go see other faces...playing!

In the sun!

This was taken during my first family photo shoot, a few weeks ago. It was so tricky to get these three little girls to look at the camera all at one time, to all hold still, and to all smile. This was one of the lucky shots. I love the sunlight in the photo.

The headless polar bear!!

Weird is the name of the challenge, weird is exactly the word I thought of when I took this picture. I didn't edit this picture, it is just the way the water magnifies and distorts images to make the body look closer than the head. Pretty crazy!

Our zoo had a great polar bear exhibit. The two bears are always up by the glass showing off. Its is our favorite place to see at the zoo. The indoor viewing area with AC helps too! When you get those 100* days with 90-100% humidity a little AC goes a long way.

Zelda the curious cat! My hubby got me these flowers one day when I was feeling down. They brightened my day and our home. I wasn't the only one who enjoyed them!

She is 3

Yep Munchkin has passed the baby years, said good-bye to the toddler times and has moved on to being a big KID!! Am I old enough to have a 3 year old? WOW, it is weird to think that I have spent the last 3 years not working, not going to school, but being a full-time, stay at home, mother (I LOVE IT!)

This week!

Over the weekend Munchkin had a birthday. We spent a lot of time blowing, catching, and popping bubbles. Here she is trying (most of the time unsuccessfully) to catch some of these magic bubbles!

a little boy and his wagon

Nature vs Nurture?---I tend to lean more toward the nature side. It seems to me that boys will be boys.

Both of my children were playing with the same toy yesterday. The wagon. Munchkin wanted to sit in it and day dream! She would watch for birds or close her eyes and lay her head back. Little Buddy on the other hand, just wanted to check out the wagon. He checked the tires, the seats, the sturdiness, the handle, see what kind of sound it makes when you smack it, what it tastes like, etc, etc, etc. He explored it for about 45 min!!!
